Doon University was established by the Government of Uttarakhand. The university started its first academic session on August 6, 2009. The major objective behind the establishment of the university was to to create an autonomous and accountable institution of higher learning in Dehradun. The another major aim of the university is to provide lead in frontier areas of research and methods of pedagogy.

Candidates can apply for the faculty positions of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the Schools of Communication, School of Environment & Natural Resources, School of Management, School of Social Sciences and School of Languages.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: 8 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: 17 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8000

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: 17 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000

Selection Process:

The final selection of the candidates for the specfied posts will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination as well as the personal interview session.
