Job Profile:

Mazagon Dock Limited requires to hire professional engineers for the posts of Contract Engineer for a period of one year. The Engineers will have to work for the deployment for shipbuilding design activities at the Directorate of Naval Design, New Delhi. The posts are available in the following disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Civil Engineering.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 28 years as on 5 May 2011. In case, candidates possess age more than the prescribed maximum age limit, then he/she should not apply for the respective post as their candidature will be cancelled straightaway. There is relaxation available for the reserved category candidates in the upper age limit set for the post of Contract Engineer in Mazagon Dock Limited.

Educational Qualification:

Full time degree in Engineering in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil Engineering from any recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also have knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Candidates having knowledge of tribon and MS project are desirable for the desired post of Contract Engineer in Mazagon Dock Limited.

Selection Committee:

The selection procedure for the specified post includes an interview followed by the verification of original documents and then medical fitness test. Only eligible candidates will have to appear for the interview test on the scheduled date i.e. 5 May 2011. After that the verification of original documents of the candidates will be done. Selected candidates will then have to submit their fitness certificate from either District Surgeon or Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital or Dean of Government Medical College.
