Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) was formed in the year 1997 under the telecom Regulatory Authority of india Act, 1997 by the Government of India. The headquarter of the authority is located at Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, New Delhi. Dr. J.S. Sharma is the chairman of the authority. the major idea behind the establishment of the authority is to regulate the telecommunications business in the country. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is now a recognized authority in the country engaged in the telecommunication business.

Job Profile:

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is making recruitment of best suitable candidates on the following vacant positions of Advisor and Deputy Advisor. The deputation on the specified positions will be made on foreign service terms initially for a period of two years in its regional offices. Selected candidates will be recruited in various state capitals named Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Guhawati, Bangalore, Jaipur and Mumbai.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit for applying on the posts of Advisor and Deputy Advisor in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Candidates having age less than the prescribed minimum age limit and also more than the prescribed maximum age limit, will not be considered eligible for any of the two specified positions.

Educational Qualification:

Interested canddiates must have done Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics or Commerce or Engineering or Law or Humanities or Law from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess requisite experience in the relavnt field.

Advisor: Candidates should be holding the position of Officer of the Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous Bodies or position of Officer in Selection Grade with four years of regular service in that grade, for this post.

Deputy Advisor: Candidates should be holding the position of Officer of the Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous Bodies or position of Officer in Senior Time Scale with four years of regular service in that grade, for this post.

Pay Scale:

Advisor: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.
Deputy Advisor: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.
