Profile:

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was established under the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission was established by the Governer of the state. A chairman with four other members constitutes the strength of the commission. The State of Uttarakhand actually came into existence on November 9, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The major objective of the commission is to make recruitment on important government positions in the state of the Uttarakhand through the means of written as well as interview test.
