The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) was established on 25th January, 1971 under the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Members) Regulations, 1971. HPPSC includes a Chairman and two Members. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is offering excellent task in selecting people for various civil services and posts in the State.
Job Profile:
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) invites applications for the post of Dental Medical Officer (Class I Gazetted) and Naib Tehsildar (Class II Gazetted).
No. of posts – Dental Medical Officer (Class I Gazetted) - 11; Naib Tehsildar (Class II Gazetted) - 13.
P ay Scale – Dental Medical Officer - Consolidated pay scale of Rs. 21000 PM; Naib Tehsildar - Rs. 10300-34800 + GP of Rs. 4200
Eligibility:
Age Criteria: Minimum age limit is 18 yrs and maximum age limit is 39 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational Qualification:
Dental Medical Officer - The candidate must have bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from a recognized university. The candidate must have registered with State Dental Council. Post graduate degree (MDS) in Dentistry is desirable.
Naib Tehsildar - The candidate must have graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
Selection Process:
The selection of the post is through written examination and interview.

Eligible interested candidates can get the application form in person or by post from the office of the Commission or from prescribed post office or sub-post office.
Completely filled application form must be sent to the following address through registered/ Speed post or handed over personally in the Reception Counter of the Commission:

Application Fee:
Demand draft of Rs.350 (For General/ (Gen. Hearing Impaired/Orthopaedically Handicapped & General WFF. of the state of Himachal Pradesh), or Rs.165 (for SC/ST&OBC of H.P) and Rs.100 (for Ex-Service Men/Visually Impaired of H.P) must be drawn in favor of the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002 payable at Shimla.
In case of obtaining application in person, the demand draft of Rs.300 (For General/ (Gen. Hearing Impaired/Orthopaedically Handicapped & General WFF. of the state of Himachal Pradesh), or Rs.115 (for OBC, ST and SC belonging to the state of Himachal Pradesh) and Rs.50 (for Visually Impaired of H.P/Ex-Service Men) must be taken.
