Indo Tibetan Border Police has been shielding us since 1962. It has been protecting our borders and our country against our enemies or any other illegal activity and also restores the peace of an area in case of any disturbance. It is currently covering an area of 3500 Kms. It is respected and saluted for its commendable work.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the post of Sub-Inspector (Overseer) Group-B in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 25 years as on 20 August 2010.

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or equivalent alongwith a Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized institute or university is required for the post.

No. of posts: Only 19 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be get the prescribed salary of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Selection process:

Selection commitee will take a personal interview test of the eligible candidates and their performance in the test will be considered as the only basis for the selection on the specified post.
