IIT Delhi-DMS 2011 MBA
Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi Department of Management Studies (IITD-DMS) conducts an admission process for its MBA programme. IITD-DMS is offering MBA programmes since 1997. IIT Delhi has been a premier institution for engineering education since it was founded over 40 years ago. There is no doubt in the credibility of IITs in the field of technical education but IITD-DMS as a management school also ranks among the top management institutes in the country according to various surveys. The Institute been an elite in Engineering forum, is also gaining a major upliftment within the field of management based education.
For admission to the full time 2 year MBA programme of IITD-DMS candidates have to appear in JMET-2010(Joint Management Entrance Test) like all for all IITs MBA programmes. In addition candidates have to apply separately for IITD-DMS. Students shortlisted through JMET are called for Personal Interview and Group Discussion for final selection.

• 2 year full time MBA program
1. Management Systems: 86 seats
2. Telecommunication Systems Management: 29 seats
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering OR Master’s degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Master’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics with atleast 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying exam. There will be relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent in CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
Application Forms:
The form will be available through post by sending a request for the form to IITD-DMS. After receiving the form candidates have to send the filled form along with a demand draft of Rs. 1000(Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PH) in favor of ‘IIT Delhi’. Candidates can also download the application form through the website: www.iitd.ac.in
How to apply:
Candidates can avail the application form cum prospectus through the Institute itself directly. Candidates can either pay cash or offer a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Registrar itself. Beside that the candidates can also download the application form from the official website, given above, and forward it to the concerned authority.
