Profile:

Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) was established on October 30, 1972 under the provision of Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Government of India. The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first introduced under Article 96C of the Government of India Act, 1919. Tripura got her statehood in the year 1972 and just after this achievement, Tripura Public Service Commission was established in the same year.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Director:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 40 to 50 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done M.Sc. with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 13575-37000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5100.

2. Recruitment of Inspecting Officer:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 37 years of age as on 30 September 2010.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have degree in Pharmacy from recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 13575-37000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 3700.

3. Recruitment of Project Officer:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 37 years of age as on 30 September 2010.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Master degree in agriculture from recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 13575-37000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 3700.

4. Recruitment of Statistical Officer:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 37 years of age as on 30 September 2010.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Master degree from recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9570-30000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 3100.

Selection Process:

The final selection of the eligible candidates will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the personal interview test with the selection committee.
