S.K.N. College of Agriculture was established in the year 1947 and the college is coming under the jurisdiction of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University located at Bikaner.

Courses offered:

This is an agriculture college offering UG, PG and Ph. D programmes in the agricultural education. The UG course offered by the college is Bachelor of Science (hons.) in agriculture and PG course offered is Master of Science in Agriculture.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to the UG and PG course offered by the college is done through Common Entrance Examination, which is a competitive examination. To appear for this competitive examination, students have to apply to the controller of examination of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University. For the Ph. D course, the college gives admission in the second semester of the academic session.

Eligibility requirements:

For getting admission to the entrance examination, candidates must have completed higher secondary education with science/agriculture group of the board of secondary education. The minimum educational qualification in the case of PG entrance examination is that candidates must have completed UG (hons.) or general in agriculture/bachelor of veterinary science from Rajasthan Agricultural University or any other equivalent university.  For the Ph. D course, candidates must have obtained not less than 65% of marks in the conventional method of education/7.0 on 10.0 point scale or 3.2 on 4.0 point scale in the PG examination in the field of agriculture.

Placement cell:

The campus of the college includes a placement cell, which has been functioning from the year 2005. Some of the top recruiters like Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Reliance Diary Foods Ltd., Oriental Bank of Commerce, ICICI bank, etc…have acquired talents from this college for their respective organizations.

Co-curricular Activities:

The students are always encouraged by the college to take part in co-curricular activities in addition to education.  So students of the college are taking part in activities like NCC, NSS, etc…
