Indian Air Force is a part of Indian Armed Forces which has been active since October 8, 1932. The force is a part of Minsitry fo Defence and Indian Armed Forces. The headquarter of the force is located at New Delhi. The force has the motto ‘Touch the sky with Glory’. The prime objective of the force is to secure the airspace of the country and also to conduct aerial welfare during a conflict. Three of the major operations undertaken by the Indian Air Force include Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot and Operation Cactus.

Job Profile:

Direct recruitment of the eligible candidates is to be made on the Group ‘C’ Civilian Posts in Headquarter Central Air Command, Indian Air Force. Only eligible candidates are requested to apply for the following posts:

1. Recruitment of Lower Divisionm Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualifciation: 12th pass or equivalent. Candidates are alos required to have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

2. Recruitment of MTD (OG):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matric pass or equivalent. Candidates must have knowledge of motor mechanism. Atleast 2 years of experience in driving motor vehicles is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

3. Recruitment of Cook:
No. of posts: Only 15 posts.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matric pass or equivalent. Candidates must posses atleast six months experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

4. Recruitment of Draughtman:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matric pass or equivalent. Certificates of Industrial Institute Certificate in the relevant trade is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 2400.

5. Recruitment of Painter:
No. of posts: Only 1 post.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matric pass or equivalent. Certificates of Industrial Institute Certificate in the relevant trade is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

6. Recruitment of Carpenter:
No. of posts: Only 1 post.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualifciation: Matric pass or equivalent. Certificates of Industrial Institute Certificate in the relevant trade is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of 1900.

How to apply: Dully typed application form on A-4 size paper as per the prescribed application format, must be filled in completely by the candidates.
