International agencies like the UNO also employ professionals in disaster management. Besides this, students can also find jobs as rehabilitation workers, environmental experts, social workers and as medical health specialists. The remuneration of the candidates will differ on the basis of their qualification and proficiency. The initial salary of candidates will be around Rs. 8,000 - Rs10, 000 a month. Those who have an experience of 2 or 3 years may earn up to Rs. 15,000 -20,000 each month. Professionals in the field of emergency management will have a salary of approximately Rs. 1, 50,000 every month.
