The Sanskrit Paper I of the Tamil Nadu Matriculation Exam is a 100 mark paper. It is to be solved in the given time duration of two and half hours. The questions in the paper are from the syllabus itself. The paper is divided into sections. All the questions are mainly objective type and with multiple choices given below each of them. There is no negative marking on the paper. So the student is free to either guess or use the elimination method to write the answers. It is important that you attempt all the questions in the paper to get a good score. All the questions are compulsory.

You must solve the last years’ question papers in order to know how the questions are framed and what they entail. The paper is to be answered in Sanskrit itself. Make sure to mark only one answer to each question. Or else the question will get disqualified. Do not make the paper untidy. Make sure to know the works of various authors and poets with their names so as to be able to identify properly in the paper. Learn to time and plan your paper well so you will unnecessarily lose marks for not completing your paper.
