LNMIIT is Lakshmi Niwas Mittal Institute of Information Technology which is located in the city Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. it operations commenced in the year 2002 with just one discipline, which was Communication and Computer Engg. Now there are five disciplines operating in the campus of the university which is at about 10km from the highway of Jaipur and Agra. It is a deemed university and a public private partnership between the state government, i.e., government of Rajasthan and the Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and Usha Mittal. The institute is a non profit organization. The university envisions setting a platform for its students for creation and application of knowledge and education through research, guidance of experts. It also wants to be an effective catalyst for the growth of the country in the field of technology and society. Some of the objectives of the university are to become a centre of excellence which is globally recognized, to produce engineers with capabilities to work as a professional, to provide quality programs to its students, to be a part of research which is application oriented and also be a part of the developmental activities.

Apart from the five disciplines of engineering, degree in masters of Science is also provided by the university. Admissions in the engineering program are conducted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in AIEEE or the exam conducted by IIT. Top 10 rankers among the boys and top 20 rankers among the girls in the senior secondary examination of Rajasthan board of education are admitted directly in the course. The post graduate programs include M.Tech, PhD and MS programs.

The university has a strong infrastructure with various facilities like housing and LAN connectivity. It also encourages its students to form various committees like cultural, sports etc and various groups to help the needy people and it also organizes different festivals in the curriculum of the year.
