Finance (Revenue-I) Department is one of the important department which comes under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The major objective of this deaprtment of the Government of NCT of Delhi is laid down by the President of India. The functionality of the departmnet is also laid down by the President of India in excercise of powers under Section 44 of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi by promulgating the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Allocation of Business) Rules 1993.

Job Profile:

Finance (Revenue-I) Department is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the posts of Judicial Member and Administrative Member in the Delhi Value Added Tax Appellate Tribunal. Only SC category candidates can apply for the post of Judicial Member.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should not be less than 40 years as on the last date for reciept of applications. Also interested candidates must have hold office for a term of three years, provided that nosuch person shall hold office as member of the Tribunal after he has attained the age of sixty five years. Educational Qualification:

For the post of Judicial member, candidates should have held a Civil Judicial post for atleast 10 years while candidates should have held for atleast 2 years the post of a Joint Secretary to the GOvernment of India or any other post under the Central or a State Government or Government of Union Territory, for the post of Administrative Member.

Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000. Annual increments in accordance with the rules applicable to a Joint Secretary to the Government of India belonging to the Indian Administrative Service.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the above specified posts, is consist of a personal interview examination that will be held on a prescribed date. A selection commitee will take the interview test of each and every candidates. The selection of the candidates is going to be depend on the result of this interview test.
