Profile:

The Revenue Department of Delhi functions under the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. The department is responsible for designating Collectors, Additional Collectors, Assistant Collectors, Revenue Assistants and Tehsildars as per the revenue laws operating in Delhi. The department is also responsible for designating the subordinate revenue staffs who are involved in field level revenue activities. The subordinate revenue staffs comprise Girdavars, Kanungos and Patwaries who would be supervised by Tehsildars. The department is also responsible for day to day revenue work. The Deputy Commissioner of the New Delhi district controls/ supervises officer guiding, facilitates all related works and heads the Revenue Department at the district level.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The upper age limit is 65 years. The age limit is relaxable as per rules.
