Profile:
High Court of Haryana and Punjab was established in the year 1966 under the jurisdiction of Punjab, Harayan and Chandigarh. The court is authorized by Constitution of India. The decisions of the counrt are appealed to Supreme Court of India. The strength of this court is 68 judges in which there is one Chief Justice, 36 Permanent Judges and 31 Additional Judges. Mr. Mukul Mudgal is the current Chief Justice of the court. He was appointed on December 2009 and he is to retire on January 3, 2011. The shifting of the seat of the High Court was occurred on January 17, 1955.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited for filling the vacants posts of Court Manager in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana and Subordinate Courts of Punjab. However, the deputation of candidates is to be made only on temporary basis which are likely to be continued depending on the performances of the selected candidates in the temporary period of their deputation.
Eligibility:
The age of the candidates should not be less than 25 years and more than 35 years on the last date for the reciept of applications i.e. 7 February 2011. This age criteria is need to be strictly followed by the interested candidates otherwise they applications will not be considered by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification for the post of Court Manager in High Court of Punjab and Haryana is B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology with degree of MBA from any recognized university. Candidates will be provided preferences over others depending on their experience and qualification in the field of Law.
No. of posts:
Court Manager: 18 posts in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana.
Court Manager: 16 posts in the Subordinate Courts of Punjab.
Pay Scale: All selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100. Rs. 6600 will also be paid additionally as Grade Pay to the selected candidates.
Application Fee:
A Demand Draft amounting Rs. 500 is need to be paid as the application fee for applying on the specified posts in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana. The Demand Draft should be drawn in the favour of Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, CHandigarh payable at Chandigarh. The Demand Draft must be sent alongwith the completely filled in application form.
Selection Process:
There will be organised a objective type written test by High Court of Punjab and Haryana for making recruitment of the eligible and qualified candidates on specified post. This written test will be followed by a viva voice. The written test will be of Generwal Knowledge apart from knowledge of subject concerned of the level of MBA.
How to apply: The applications in the prescribed performa and also complete in all respect must be accompanied by the Demand Draft of prescribed amount. The applications should reach to the prescribed address on or before the last date of reciept of application alongwith the DD, copies of cetificates and a dully attested passport size photograph.
