Automobile Maintenance is one of the subjects in which Annamalai University offers postgraduate diploma in. The subject is very industry oriented and is very helpful for the students. This course is offered through distance education. “Trouble Shooting and Maintenance” is Paper II of the course. The pattern of this test is as follows.

The paper of Trouble Shooting and Maintenance is a three hour exam and the maximum marks carried by the test are 100. There are two sections in the paper. Section A has six questions out of which three are to be answered. The questions in this section carry 20 marks each. All the questions are descriptive in nature.

Section B consists of four questions out of which two are to be answered. These questions are also descriptive ones and carry 20 marks each.

Short notes can also be given occasionally. There is no dearth of choices in the question paper so the students can easily score good marks in the subject. The questions can have sub parts, or on the other hand a single question can carry 20 marks. In either case, students should be well prepared, as questions are set covering the full syllabus.
