The University of Delhi offers the course of M. Sc in Environmental Biology. There are a total of eight papers in the second year

Semester III

•    Environmental Pollution & Toxicology
•    Environment Impact & Risk Assessment
•    Bioremediation & Restoration Ecology

Semester IV

•    Biodiversity& Conservation Biology
•    Conservation, Development & Society
•    Dissertation
•    Dissertation

The first six papers have a maximum of four hundred and fifty marks, and they are divided into four parts, namely the Theory part carrying a total of seventy marks, the Internal Assessment part carrying a total of thirty marks, Practical part carrying a total of fifty marks and the Dissertation part carrying a total of three hundred m arks. The theory paper has three hours duration.

The last two papers are purely Dissertation based and carry a total of three hundred marks. Each of the papers is credited with a minimal amount and candidates are offered marks as accordingly. Candidates are advised to go through the previous years papers in order to obtain a feel for the pattern. Besides, both short as well as long answer types question are offered in the Theory papers.
