Indian Council of Agricultural Research was established on July 16, 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Initially it was named as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research under the Department of Agricultural research and Education, ministry of Agricultura, Government of India. this autonomous institution has the major function of co-ordinating and guding the research and education in agriculture including Horticulture, Fisheries and Animal Sciences.

Job Profile:

Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the various vacant posts of Head of Division/Project Co-ordinator under different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which is located at New Delhi.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 14 February 2011. Candidates having age more than 60 years are not eligible for applying on the specified position of Head of Division or Project Co-ordinator in the different institutes of the council.

Educational Qualification:

Doctoral degree in the relevant field is the minimum educational qualification required for applying on the specified positions of Head of Division or Project Co-ordinator in Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Candidates are also required to possess some years of specialization or research experience in the relevant field.
