I'm Tanvi persueing my B.Tech in ECE Branch nd I'd like to know the name of the examination organised by ISRO for B.Tech passed students.......and would also like to know all the credentials.........

Every year ISRO CENTRALISED RECRUITMENT BOARD(ICRB)

conducts recruitment of engineering graduates for the post of

Scientist/Engineer 'SC'.

The recruitment is conducted for engineering graduates of

electronics, mechanical and computer science stream.

One can apply for the same during the final year of B.Tech.

or after completion of B.Tech.

This year the notification for the recruitment was published in

the month of February. Similar trend should follow next year.

Eligibility:

Minimum 65% in Graduation(B.E./B.Tech.)

Maximum permissible age is 35 years.

For the engineering students ISRO conducted ISRO CENTRALIZED RECRUITMENT BOARD(ICRB) for the post of Junior or Senior scientist.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The eligibility for this exam will be B.Tech(appeared or passed).
The age limit will be 30 years and there will be 5% relaxation for the backward categories.

You ask about th ename of the exam ,
Isro conducted the exam with the name of ISRO it self..
every year ISRO publised the form and you apply for that ..
sector exam conducted by the ISRO you may apply for Sector B that is Technical sector.

ISRO recruit through ISRO CENTRALISED RECRUITMENT BOARD(ICRB)

The Annual Recruitment of Scientists/Engineers ‘SC’ with BE/B.TECH OR Equivalent Degree is done in the Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science branches..

The written test was conducted on 16th April 2011 [Saturday] at thirteen venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date for online application submission for ISRO Exam 2011 was on 28-02-2011.

so you can try for the next year at the same month ....

Eligibility for Isro Exam 2011:

* BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available). Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31.8.2011

Age Limit:

* 35 years as on 28-02-2011 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders).

For PWD persons, orders on reservation to the extent applicable will be extended for the above posts

the name of the examination conducted by isro for B.Tech candidates is Scientist/Engineer 'SC'. for this examination you should have minimum of 65% marks in b.Tech or B.E the examination for this year is already over. go to the website http://www.isro.org

i'm SAISAKETH GUDURU persuing my b-tech 3rd year in ece so, can i apply for the isro exam while my 4rth year running and i had wasted 1year before joining in the b-tech after completion of my 12th so will it makes any problem for me in joining isro which is a dream project for me and what the books should be refered to write isro exam....
