Is there any job openings in ISRO for MCA 2011 candidates?

Ya u can apply for Isro as a computer science field........
and be a part of the exam.........

but i think that MCA students are also eligible for the Computer Science stream vacancies.

I am not sure whether MCA students are eligible for any openings in ISRO. Even B.E(CS) don't have much of a opening there. They prefer Electronics and electrical students.

More than that the number of openings that might be there for every opening in ISRO will be very less - only around 5 or 7.

ISRO prefers candidates from reputed organizations like anna university or BITS Pilani etc;

I don't want to discourage you, just apply for the same . Let's hope for the best!
I tried applying earlier (2005 / 2006) but my efforts were in vain.

For work with NASA you must have US citizenship and MS/Ph.d. degree...!!! :)

What are openings in ISRO for computer science students both for (BE(cs)and MCA).??

If you are saying that MCA Students are not elegible as they have the computer stream so why do btech(CS) branch students are hired as they also have there stream same as the MCA.

Yes I agree there are very few vacancy for MCA and Computer science students. But If we put hard work surely we will get job in ISRO. Before that we have to prepare well for written test. They provide us previous year question paper to prepare for ISRO Computer science Exam.
