Upper Division Clerk - Heavy Water Board (HWB), Department of Atomic Energy
Heavy Water Board (HWB) is a part of the Department of Atomic Energy. The HWB is mainly involved in the production of Heavy Water (D2O). Besides involving in the production of Heavy Water, the HWB has also opened other avenues for research on other uses of heavy water and energy conservation.
The Board also offers value added services to other chemical process industry. The primary aim of the HWB is to become self sufficient in production of Heavy Water.
The Chairman and the Chief Executive of HWB are responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of all Heavy Water Plants and various projects undertaken by the Board. They are also responsible for approving the proposals for pricing of Heavy Water and other products/ services offered by the Board.

Heavy Water Board (HWB), Department of Atomic Energy invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Upper Division Clerk.

Pay Scale – Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs.2400
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – The maximum age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification – The candidates must have a degree in arts, science or commerce from any recognized University with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English typewriting and knowledge of computer data processing are desirable.
Selection Process:
The selection for the posts is through initial screening, written examination and interview. The candidates qualifying in the written examination will be called for the interview. For more details refer the HWB’s website.
