BARC has good Scope. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre offers creative and rewarding career opportunities to young qualified men and women who like challenges in frontline areas of Nuclear Science and Technology and are keen to be a part of expanding Indian nuclear power programme. Ample prospects are available for pursuing innovative research in Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Geophysics, Engineering and Biosciences at the centre. SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION AND PLACEMENT A trainee who scores a minimum of 50% aggregate marks on completion of the training programme is declared to have passed the course successfully. Successful Trainees will be posted as Scientific Officers ‘C’ in one of the DAE units. Posting of a successful OCES trainee to a DAE unit is done on the basis of merit at the end of the OCES programme. A small number of selected candidates/ trainees are also posted at other units under the Atomic Energy Commission/Department of Atomic Energy or the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
