Punjab University (PU) came into existence in the year 1882 at Lahore. The university was relocated to Chandigarh in the year 1956. The University is one of the oldest as well as popular universities in India. The university includes 58 teaching and research departments and 10 centres/ chairs for teaching and research at the main campus situated at Chandigarh. The university has 172 colleges affiliated to it.
The University teaches and researches in the field of science, humanities, social sciences, engineering & technology, performing arts and sports. The university has fifteen hostels on the campus including seven men hostels and five women hostels.
The University Health Centre provides consultancy, clinical and emergency services to the students and staffs. The University has playgrounds, a gymnasium and a swimming pool for providing sports activities for the students. The University has four museums, a theatre lab, a botanical garden and a garden of medicinal plants on the campus.

i did m com with 54% and b.ed with 68% ,is it possible for me to do a job in Pu chd, if yes then what it will be
