Punjab Technical University was founded in the year 1997 under the Government of India. The university was founded with the objective of bringing about a development in the field of technical education in the country. There are more than 260 colleges under its affiliation. The university provides various courses under different streams of education like information technology, medical lab technology, hotel management, architecture, pharmacy, management and engineering. The university also offers certain non-technical courses as well besides the technical courses.

Punjab Technical University is looking forward to recruit dynamic and committed indian individuals on the following vacant positions of Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations, Dy. Finance Officer, Assistant Professor, Legal Officer, Assistant Registrar and Estate Officer. The post of Assistant Professor is available in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Fashion Technology and Hotel Management & Catering Technology.

1. Recruitment of Finance Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree bwith minimum 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Controller of Examinations:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree bwith minimum 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

3. Recruitment of Dy. Finance Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree bwith minimum 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in the concerned discipline or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

5. Recruitment of Legal Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

6. Recruitment of Assistant Registrar:

Application Fee:

All interested candidates should submit an application fee of Rs. 500 before applying for any of the above specified positions.
