Company profile: It was founded in the 1962 under CRPF. The functions of this force are to check for illegal migrants, maintain order in any area, vigilance of northern borders and prevent anti-social activities. There are also adventurous activities involved in this force like mountaineering, skiing etc. It was the first to receive an award for the best marching troop in a Republic day parade. 

Job profile: A candidate will be absorbed as an assistant commandant in the force. The candidate will be playing a role of a civil engineer in the force for various maintenance and design activities. The candidates will be absorbed as a trainee initially.

Eligibility: The age of a candidate must not be more then 30 years (relaxation can be claimed as per rules). Minimum height required is 165 cms and chest is 81 cms un-expanded and 86 cms expanded. Preferably 6/6 vision is required.

Educational qualification: A candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Pay scale: The pay scale is Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400. There is a condition of working for minimum 10 years otherwise candidates will have to pay a penalty.
