Paper pattern
The paper is divided into a total of five questions. Each question is divided into many sub questions. There is no compulsory question. All the five questions have choices so that the candidate can choose one of the two choices that are given to him in each question. While answering the paper, emphasis is to be kept on diagrams. Approximately half of the questions require explanation with the help of a diagram. The marks of the diagrams are equally distributed.
Distribution of marks
The total mark that is allotted to a candidate is 70. Every question carries 14 marks and these marks are equally divided among the two sub question. These sub questions may or may not have further sub divisions. The diagrams also carry equal marks.
Duration of the paper
The paper is to be completed within 3 hours. Before starting the exam, n extra 15 minutes are given to each candidate so that he can devote this time in properly reading the question paper. The student is advised to read the paper carefully and make the choices of the questions wisely. If any candidate has any query, he can clarify them within this period of time.
About the subject
The subject lays stress on the biological set up of an organism. The whole subject is dedicated to the study of living organisms. Every detail of human anatomy is covered in this subject. It gives the candidate a better understanding of the biological set up of every living being and he also learns the basic functions of every organ of the body.
The questions that are asked in the papers are set to test the knowledge of the candidate in the given field. The questions are to-the-point and require brief answers. A good knowledge of diagrams is also a basic requirement. Many questions are diagram based and require the candidate to have a good knowledge of diagrams.
