Tura is a municipality and a city located in the West Garo Hills District of the state of Meghalaya. Tura Government College is affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University and this college offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce courses with different subjects under arts and science stream of education.

Teacher Education College:

B. Ed College, Tura is an education college run by the Government of Meghalaya and this college is permitted to admit 100 students per year for the Bachelor of Education course offered by the College. The permission is granted by the National Council of Teacher Education from the year 2003 and it is affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University.

Training Centre:

Government Normal Training Centre is approved by the Meghalaya Board of School Education and this college is offering Normal Teacher Training course with an intake capacity of 40 students per year.
