Topic taught:

The topics that are to be studied in this paper are higher order differentiation, differential equation, function, maxima and minima, area of the curve, degree of equation, etc. These are just some of the important topics, but a thorough understanding as well as practice of the entire syllabus is what required if you are looking to get a good score.

Divisions:

There is only one division in this paper having a total of 5 questions. Although no sectional division in the paper makes your task a bit easy, but be very cautious as it can be a bit tricky as well. Generally, with no sections you can be rest assured that questions will be there from certain modules, but you never know the mind set of people who are setting the paper. Hence, make sure you get your hands on at least once to every topic.

Time and marks:

The total time allotted to the students for solving this paper is of three hours and the maximum marks that can be awarded in this paper is 100.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper is in English. There are total 5 questions in this paper. All the questions of this paper are compulsory. The total mark for each of the question of the paper is printed on the right margin of the paper. There are two subdivisions in every question except the first question of which only one is to be attempted. There are 8 subdivisions in the first question of the paper. All these are short notes type. Each part of this question carries 5 marks and the total marks for this question is 40. The remaining questions of the paper are long answer type. All the long answer type questions carry 15 marks for each question.
