Andhra Bank is a public sector bank that was incorporated in the year 1923. The bank performs all its operation in the supervision of Government of India. The bank is considered among the few of the largest banks present in the country. Approximatley, 650 ATMs of the bank is spreaded in the country. There are approximately 1371 branches spreaded in various regions with 66 extension counters and 38 satellite offices. The bank is best known for the utilities and banking facilities that it provides to its customers. The bank can surely be termed as one of the most famous bank among customers in India.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for applying for the positions of Technical Officer (MMGS-II) and Technical Officers (MMGS-III) in Andhra Bank. Only online application will be recieved by bank and no other means or mode of application will be accepted.
Eligibility:
For the post of Technical Officers (MMGS-II): The minimum age limit set for the post is 21 years and maximum age limit set for the post is 33 years as on 30 April 2011.
For the post of Technical Officers (MMGS-III): The minimum age limit set for the post is 21 years and maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years as on 30 April 2011.
Educational Qualification:
For the post of Technical Officers (MMGS-II): Graduate or Post Graduate degree in mechanical or Electrical or Civil or Chemical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also possess atleast 2 years of experience in an bank or financial institution.
For the post of Technical Officers (MMGS-III): Graduate or Post Graduate degree in mechanical or Electrical or Civil or Chemical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also possess atleast 3 years of experience in an bank or financial institution.
No. of posts: Total 45 posts are available.
Technical Officers (MMGS-II): 30 posts (Gen-15, SC-5, ST-2 and OBC-8)
Technical Officers (MMGS-III): 15 posts (Gen-8, SC-2, ST-1 and OBC-4)
Pay Scale:
Technical Officers (MMGS-II): Consolidated salary of Rs. 31270 per month.
Technical Officers (MMGS-III): Consolidated salary of Rs. 41260 per month.
Application Fee:
General and OBC categories candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 400 only. SC/ST candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 75 only. The application fee must be paid at Andhra Bank branches spreaded all over in India. The payment must be done in cash through the means of a payment challan which can be easily downloaded from the bank’s website.
How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online only at Andhra bank’s website. The registration link will be open on the website from 21 May 2011 onwards. Candidates should apply online on or before the last date i.e. 9 June 2011. Candidates should also take out the print of completed application form and keep it for future purpose.
