Meerut is a metropolitan city located in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India and the city is located at a distance of about 453 km from the capital of state Lucknow. Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut came into existence in the year 1966 and this college is run by the Ministry of Medical Education of Government of Uttar Pradesh.
