• Aspirant must be a graduate in any of the disciplines of Biochemistry, Microbiology or Life Science. Along with this degree they must possess six months diploma in Bioinformatics
• Graduates or Post graduates in Chemistry, Botany or Zoology

Post graduation in any of the following subjects such as

• Molecular Biology
• Biochemistry
• Genetics
• Microbiology
• Structural Biology

Students have to pay an additional amount of Rs 3500/- along with normal fees while applying for lateral entry program. Even though students are entering directly to the second semester they have appear and pass exams of the first semester also
