Ministry of Minority Affairs was established recently in the year 2006 and it is working as the apex body for the developmental programmes and regulatory programmes for minority communities in India like Parsis, Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs and Muslims. The ministry of minority affairs is also engaged with the officer of the commissioner of linguistic minorities, preservation and protection of Muslim shrines in India and non-Muslim shrines in Pakistan according to the terms of the Pant-Mirza Agreement developed in consultation with the External Affairs Ministry of Government of India.

Educational qualification:

For some of the positions like clerk and lower division clerk, candidates can be graduates in any discipline and for other positions like stenographer and clerk-cum-typist candidates must have graduation along with stenography and typewriting certification.
