Eligibility requirement:
UG Courses:
The duration of BVA and BPA courses offered by the institute is four years. For seeking admission to these courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary with not less than 40% of marks.
PG Courses:
The duration of MVA and MPA courses offered by the institute is two years. For seeking admission to these courses candidates must have completed BVA/BFA or bridge course with not less 45% of marks.
Bride Courses:
The duration of bridge courses offered by the institute is one year and for seeking admission to these courses, candidates must have completed their B. Tech/B. Com/B. Sc/B.A course with not less than 45% of marks.
Diploma courses:
The duration of Diploma in Visual and performing arts courses offered by the institute is one year. For seeking admission to these courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary with not less than 40% of marks.
M. Phil:
The duration of Master of Philosophy course offered by Mangalayatan Institute of Visual & Performing arts is one year and for admission to this course, candidates must have completed thieir MA/MFA/PFA with not less than 55% of aggregate marks.
Ph. D:
The institute offers two-year full-time Ph. D course in visual and performing and for seeking admission to this course, candidates must have completed their MPA/MFA/MA as a three-year part-time or two-year full-time course with not less than 55% of marks.

Both departments of the Mangalayatan Institute of Visual & Performing Arts namely department of Visual arts and Department of Performing Arts are equipped with wide range of infrastructural facilities.
