Company profile: MSETCL is responsible for the generation and transmission of electricity for fulfilling the needs of the whole Maharashtra state. There has been an excellent growth in the success of the organization owing to its hard work and challenging work. The main aim of the organization is to achieve cost and quality effectiveness and Human resource development.
Job profile: The junior engineers are required to work in civil and transmission department to execute planning and transmission activities. They are also required to assist their seniors with full hard work and dedication. They will be responsible for the success of the organization as they will be setting the foundations.
Eligibility: The candidates must be Indian Nationals and the age limit for the post is 35 years as on 21.08.09. However, relaxation can be claimed.
Educational qualifications: A candidate must have a degree in Civil/Electrical/Electrical and Power engineering from a recognized university or an institution.
No. of posts: There are 28 posts for Junior Engineer (CIVIL) and 173 posts for J.E (TRANS). There are certain seats included for reserved categories.
Pay Scale: There will be a six months training and on completion of the training the candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs7075-310-8625-325-17075.
Selection procedure: The candidates will have to appear for a written test which is to be held tentatively in the month of November and the qualified candidates will be called for an interview.
How to apply: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs500 (for GEN/OBC) and Rs250 for SC/ST in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of “Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company
Ltd” The application must be submitted in the Performa given in the advertisement or on the website that can be either typewritten or hand written. The applications along with the proof of education, caste and experience must be sent to Post Box No. 18203, Dahisar (East),
