National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited was founded in the year 1975 as a Government of India enterprise. At present, the corporation is mainly engaged in the construction of 10 projects. The corporation has its headquarter located at Faridabad. Mr. A. B. L Srivastava is the Chairman as well as Managing Director of the corporation. The corporation is considered among the top ten companies in India. The company started off with an authorised capital of Rs. 2000 million. The corproation aims to promote and organize an intergrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power.

Job Profile:

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited is making recruitment of dynamic and hardworking professionals on the vacant position of Design Engineers. Eligible candidates will be recruited purely on fixed tenure basis for a minimum period of one year. The position of Design Engineers is available in the field of Civil and Hydro Mechanical. The corporation reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies as per requirement.

Eligibility:

40 years is the upper age limit set for the post of Design Engineer as on 1 July 2011. The upper age limit is relaxable by few years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or PWD categories as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with atleast 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized institute or university. The institute must be approved by AICTE. Candidates are also required to possess atleast 2 years post qualification experience of Civil or Hydro Mechanical Designing. Those candidates, who possess qualification less than the prescribed one, should not apply for the post as their applications will be discarded straightaway by the corporation.

Some of the posts are also reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories as per the Directives of Government of India.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid the all inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30000 per month.

Selection Process:

Selection of best suitable candidates for the above specified position in National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited, will be made only through the conduct of a Walk-In-Interview test on a specified date. The walk-in-interview will be held on 27 July 2011. Candidates from Delhi and NCR region will get preference over others at the time of Walk-in-Interview.

How to apply: The walk-in-interview test will be held on 27 July 2011 from 9 AM onwards. Eligible candidates should arrive on time for the Walk-In-Interview. Candidates are also required to bring four set of prescribed application form. Also, a passport size photograph is also need to be affized on each copy of the application form.
