Institute profile: It is one of the premier institutes that deal in Agricultural research, education and extension. It is a deemed university and provides certifications like PhD and M.Sc in agriculture related disciplines. The main aims are to develop superior variety crops, stock improvement and rise in area and productivity.

Job profile: The research associates and senior research fellows will be responsible for the R&D in various areas and work on projects. They will responsible for supporting their seniors and bringing out an efficient output and execute the activities assigned to them.

Educational Qualifications: For the post of RA and SRF (NAIP consortium on Strengthening of digital library and information management) – A candidate must be a PhD in any field of computer applications/information sciences with first division or equivalent OR a candidate must have a Master’s degree in computer sciences/applications/information sciences/library sciences. A candidate must also have an experience of minimum 2 years in the relevant area. For SRF (NAIP consortium on designing and studying mode of action of nano pesticides) – A candidate must have a Master’s degree in organic chemistry/agricultural chemistry with first division.

No. of posts: There are 5 posts in total which includes 4 for RA and SRF in information management and 1 for SRF (in nano pesticides).

Pay scale: The research associates will be given Rs17000 + HRA per month and the SRFs will get Rs12000 + HRA per month.

Selection procedure: The candidates will have to appear in the walk-in interview. The selection will be on the basis of merit.
