Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) is a national research institute that was established in the year 1985. CRIDA is a constituent organization of Agricultural Research Council of India and Agricultural Ministry of Indian Government. CRIDA works with State Agricultural Universities through projects in Agrometeorology (AICRPAM) and dryland agriculture (AICRPDA). The organization mainly focuses on rainfed agriculture. CRIDA plays the leading role for a network project on climate change with partners from ICAR research institutes and universities.

Job Profile:

Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) invites application from eligible candidates for the temporary post of Senior Research Fellows in various disciplines.

No. of posts: 25

Pay Scale – Rs. 16000 + 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year, and Rs. 18000 + 30% HRA for 3rd year

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 35 yrs for men and 40 yrs for women. Only candidates satisfying this age criteria can apply.

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done Post graduation in relevant discipline. The disciplines are Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Forestry/Agroforestry, Geo-Informatics (GIS) and Remote Sensing, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agricultural Economics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Plant Physiology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Extension, Farm Machinery and Power, Agricultural Physics, Atmospheric Science, Agrometeorology/Meteorology, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Horticulture, Soil Science and Agronomy.
