College of Military Engineering provides various degree courses recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University. The college was founded under the Government of India. Initially, the college was established with the name of School of military Engineering. The college got its present name i.e. College of Military Engineering in the year 1951. The college also provides training, advisory, research and experimentation facilities for the Combat Engineers. The college also has an in house press and all its technical and combat engineering books are printed in this press only.

Job Profile:

College of Military Engineering is making recruitment of eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant positions of Stenographer Grade-III, Commercial Artist, Poster Artist and Foremen Instructor. Candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions and should also possess the minimum educational qualification set for their desired post.

1. Recruitment of Stenographer Grade-III:
Posts Available: Only 9 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also possess typing speed of 100 words per minute on computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

2. Recruitment of Commercial Artist:
Posts Available: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also possess Diploma in Commercial Art with atleast five years experience as Artist in Government organisation.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Poster Artist:
Posts Available: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also possess Diploma in Commercial Art from a recognized institution.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

4. Recruitment of Foremen Instructor:
Posts Available: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also possess Diploma in Electrical/ mechanical Engineering with atleast three years experience in Government organisation.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

Selection Process:

Selection Process for the above specified positions includes two stages:

i. Competitive Written examination,
ii. Personal Interview Test
