Eligibility Requirement:

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification requirement for the position of Stenographers in State Secretariat for internal ministerial candidates is as follows:

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination from a recognized board or equivalent qualification and

• They must have obtained ‘O’ level or equivalent course from DOEACC under the control of the electronics department of Government of India (or)

• Certificate course in Data Preparation and Computer Software/Computer Operator & Programming Assistant organized under state/national council of vocational training scheme (or)

• Diploma in computer applications/computer science from an university established by law in India or from a institution recognized by the government (or)

• Diploma in computer science & engineering from an institution of polytechnic approved by law.

Age: The minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum age requirement is 35 years as on the 1st of January 2012.

Application fee:

The cost of application is Rs.250 for general category candidates, Rs.150 for OBC candidates from non-creamy layer and Rs.50 for SC/ST candidates
