The age limit for candidates belonging to General Category to appear for Rajasthan Administrative Service Exam, conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission is as follows:

• Minimum Eligible Age: 21 years

As far as academic qualification is concerned, one must possess a bachelors degree in any discipline awarded by a recognized university. There is no percentage criteria to apply for the exam.

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers with objective type questions (multiple choice).

Paper-I General Knowledge and General Science 200
Paper-II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects. 200.

RAS is Rajasthan Administrative services exam . This is a state level exam and will be posted in Rajasthan state only if you become a RAS officer.

The basic qualification for RAS exam is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

You must be a domicile of Rajasthan if you want to apply for this exam.

The age limit is 21 to 35 years for general category candidates. There is age relaxation available for SC/ST for 5 years , OBC for 3 years .

So you can calculate whether you are eligible for it or not.

You have to pass three stages of exam to become a RAS officer. First will be preliminary exam which you have to pass if you want to proceed for mains exam.

If you don't pass prelims then you are not eligible for mains exam.

After mains you have to face personal interview. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in mains and interview.

Those who are high on merit list will get the job ahead of other competitors.

Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Examination

Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Examination is conducted by Rajasthan Publice Service Commission (RPSC) in the month of June of every year.

This time RAS examination will be based on new pattern of Single Objective type questions having total of 200 marks.

To be eligible for RAS examination, the candidate must have a graduation degree in any of the decipline. Final year students may also apply for the examination provided they must be able to submit original mark sheet/certificates at the time of selection. Along with this candidate must have age limit between 21 to 35 years as on the date of examination.

Upcoming RAS examination is going to conduct in June 2013. Application can only be made through official website of RPSC.

The age limit for RPSC conducted Ras exam is it minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years for general category candidates. The minimum age limit for all categories is same that is 21 years but commission allows relaxation in upper age limit to reserved categories candidates.

The age limit for general category candidates applying for RPSC conducted Ras exam is 21 years to 35 years. The the upper age limit for reserved categories is 38 years for OBC category and 40 years for SC and ST categories candidates.
