Canter for Development of Advance Computing comes under the control of Department of Information Technology. The centre is actually a premier Research and Development which comes under the administrative control of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. The centre is responsible for performing research and development activities in the fields or areas of Information Technology, Electronics and other associate areas. The centre was established in the year 1988 and initially the centre started building Supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by USA.

Job Profile:

Canter for Development of Advance Computing is inviting applications from eligible individuals for the following vacant positions of Senior Project Consultant, Project Consultant, Senior Project Associate, Project Associate, Assistant Project Associate, Project Assistant, Assistant Project Associate (Graphic Designer) and Project Assistant (Graphic Designer).

1. Recruitment of Senior Project Consultant:
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or MCA with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 9 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 49500-58500 per month.

2. Recruitment of Project Consultant:
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or MCA with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 32400-36000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Senior Project Associate:
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or MCA with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 4 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 29700-32400 per month.

4. Recruitment of Project Associate:
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or MCA with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 19400-29700 per month.

5. Recruitment of Assistant Project Associate:
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 6 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16200-19400 per month.

6. Recruitment of Assistant Project Associate (Graphic Designer):
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with Post Graduate Dipoma and minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16200-19400 per month.

7. Recruitment of Project Assistant:
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 13000-16200 per month.

8. Recruitment of Project Assistant (Graphic Designer):
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with Post Graduate Dipoma and minimum 1 year experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 13000-16200 per month.

Application Fee:

Rs. 250 is the amount of application fee for the candidates interested in applying for any of the above specified positions in Canter for Development of Advance Computing. However, no fee is payable by candidates belonging to reserved categories and also departmental candidates. The submission of the application fee must be done by the means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, C-DAC, Mohali.
