Employees’ State Insurance Corporation was incorporated under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The corporation was actually founded by the Central Government of India. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to have a responsible body for protecting the interest and benefits of the workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc. All such problems of the workers results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The corporation is also responsible or infact hold the responsibility of administrating the ESI scheme.

Job Profile:

IGESI Hospital is loking forward to recruit eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant positions of Senior Residents and Specialists. The post of Senior Resident is available in the field of ENT, Gynae, Medicine, Surgery, Paediatriac, Anaesthesia, Eye, Radiodiagnosis, Ortho and Psychiatry. The post of Specialists is availbale in the disciplines of Anaesthesia, Ortho, Radiology, Eye, pathology and Paediatric.

Eligibility:

For the post of Senior Residents: The maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years as on 1 October 2011.
For the post of Specialists: The maximum age limit set for the post is 40 years as on 1 October 2011.

However, the relaxation may be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. The relaxation in upper age limit will be provided as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Residents: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality from a recognized university is required for the post. Candidates with MBBS degree and atleast 2 years post MBBS experience, are also eligible to apply for the post.

Specialists: Candidates are required to have done Post Graduate degree in concerned speciality from a recognized university. Candidates are also required to possess atleast three years experience after their post graduate qualification.

Senior Residents: Only 24 posts are available.
(ENT-2, Gyane-3, Medicine-3, Surgery-3, Paediatric-2, Anaesthesia-5, Eye-1, Radiodiagnosis-1, Ortho-3 and Psychiatry-1)

Specialists: Only 7 posts are available.
(Anaesthesia-2, Ortho-1, Radiology-1, Eye-1, Pathology-1 and Paediatric-1)

Pay Scale:

Senior Residents: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Specialists: As per the recommendation of 6th Pay Commission.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 100 must be submitted by the interested candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 25 only. The application fee must be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1. No fee is required to be submitted by Women candidates.
