Lalit Narayan Mithila University offers B.Ed course on the basis of entrance test. The aspirants are required to submit the filled in application forms to the university. The directorate of Distance Education fixes the centers for the test and the same is communicated to the students.

Instruction for filling in the application form

The candidate should read the instruction properly before filling in the application form.

It is necessary for the candidate to fill in the application form using black or blue ball pen. All the relevant information should be supported by the essential documents as mentioned in the application form. The candidate need not submit the following documents along with the application form.

The certificate of secondary or senior secondary school which indicates the date of birth of the candidate accompanied by the mark list.

The degree certificate and the mark sheet of the graduation or post graduation.

Category certificated if needed.

Letter of appointment or experience certificate

The certificate from any secondary or higher secondary school to conduct the B.Ed practical’s. The format of the same is usually provided with the prospectus.

These documents are to be submitted only after receiving the offer letter for admissions to B.Ed course after the entrance exam. The candidate needs to attest the photocopies of the documents after attestation by a Gazette Officer and submit it at the time of admission. The programme centre for the candidate is allotted to a place which is nearest to the school where the candidate is working. It is necessary for the candidate to submit the format of the hall ticket along with the application form. The candidate should affix his/her colour photograph in the space allotted for the same.

Who can apply for B.Ed?

The aspirants should be an in-service teacher of any recognized school. The candidate should posses a bachelors degree or a post graduate degree from any recognized university. The candidate should have at least two years experience on a temporary or permanent basis as a primary or graduate or post graduate teacher from a school recognized by state or central government. Along with the application the candidate should enclose the experience certificate. The experienced certificate should be issued by the principal of the school. The candidates who are in the final year can also apply. But such candidates need to submit the certificate before taking the final admission. The application of the candidate is consider cancelled if submitted without relevant documents. The hall tickets are provided 15 days before the entrance test. The admission is on the basis of the merit in the entrance test.
