Nowadays Microprocessors have become an integral part of almost all the electrical and electronics appliances. With the help of microprocessors we can design control circuits for various instruments. Microprocessors are used to implement delay timers, counters, controllers etc. which can used according to the needs. This has widened our scope and what previously was done manually is nowadays automatic and all the credit goes to microprocessors and microcontrollers. All Electronics and Electricals have to study Microprocessors as a mandatory subject.

The topics which are discussed under this paper are different types of microprocessors, its principles and working, interfacing, how microprocessors are used for time delays, how they work as controllers, various type of microprocessors etc, their working principle, practical life implementation and all.

Division of paper:

The question paper is divided into three sections Section A, Section B and Section C.

Time and marks allotted:

The total time duration in which the question paper is required to solve is of three hours and the maximum marks that can be obtained in this paper are 60.

Paper Pattern:

The medium of the question paper is English. There are total 9 questions in this paper. The question paper is divided into three sections as Section A, Section B and Section C. Section A of the paper is the compulsory one and there is only one question in this paper. This question is divided into 10 parts of short notes type question. There are total 5 questions in the Section B of the paper. Out of these 5 questions only four are to be solved correctly. Each question of this section carries a maximum of 5 marks. In the last section, there is only three questions of which only two are to be attempted. These are long answer type questions carrying 10 marks for each question.
