Advanced level course in computer science consist of the paper on computer network and it in whole is meant for teaching software development. The paper on computer network consists of many sub topics through knowledge of which is very important for successful attempt of the paper. The introduction consists of services and architecture which also includes evolutions of network architecture and services as well as protocols, services and layering.

Paper Pattern

The first question has 7 subparts and each need to be compulsorily attended. 6 other questions are also there. These long questions have 2 sub parts in them. Out of these 6 questions, only 4 need to be attempted.

Marks Allotted

Credit system is followed in this particular aspect. 3 credit points are assigned for the theory paper and 1 credit point is assigned for assignment/lab. The first question which has 7 questions in it has total value of 28 marks each question being of 4 marks. The rest of the 6 questions are each of 18 marks in which each subpart is for 9 marks. The whole paper is evaluated out of total marks of 100.
