Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited is mainly engaged in the activities of generation of electricity, eco conservation and social and economic upliftment of the area. One of the prime objective of the company is to generate electrical energy and balance them as per the regional needs. The thermal power station of the company is located near Tenughat Dam which comes in the district of Bokaro. The company was established as a separate company in the year 1987 under Companies Act 1956. The company has been granted the permission for the first phase of Tenughat Thermal Power Project in the year 1979.

Job Profile:

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited is making recruitment of eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant posts of Engineering Executive (Trainee) and Executive (HR) Trainess. The posts of Engineering Executive (Trainee) are available in the disciplines of Mecahnical, Electrical, Information Technology and Civil Engineering.

1. Recruitment of Engineering Executive (Trainee)- Mechanical:
No. of posts: Only 18 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be engineering graduates in the field of Mechanical with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5500.

2. Recruitment of Engineering Executive (Trainee)- Electrical:
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be engineering graduates in the field of Electrical with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5500.

3. Recruitment of Engineering Executive (Trainee)- IT:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be engineering graduates in the field of Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5500.

4. Recruitment of Engineering Executive (Trainee)- Civil:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be engineering graduates in the field of Civil with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5500.

5. Recruitment of Executive (Trainee)- HR:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be MBA graduates with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates Post Graduate Diploma in Management or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

General and OBC candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 750 only. Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee for SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand state. The application fee must be dposited in the form of a demand draft or through online system of ICICI & HDFC banks. The demand draft should be made or drawn in favour of Central Board of Irrigation & Power payable at New Delhi.
