Andhra Bank was incorporated as a public sector bank in the year 1923. The bank comes under the supervision of Government of India. The bank is also considered as one of the largest bank present in the country. The bank has a large network af around 650 ATMs. There are approximately 1371 branches spreaded in various regions with 66 extension counters and 38 satellite offices. The bank is best knwon for the large number of banking schemes such as AB kiddy bank, AB Abhaya bank, AB banc assurance etc. The bank also provides various loans and facilities for its customers.

Job Profile:

Andhra Bank is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian Citizens for filling up the following vacant posts of Probationary Officer (Junior Management Grade Scale-I). Only online applications are invited from eligible candidates. Only those candidates, who possess a valid CWE for PO or MT score of 141 or above, are eligible to apply in Andhra Bank.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Probationary Officer is 21 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Probationary Officer is 30 years.

There is relaxation in the maximum age limit provided for the candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the rules of Government of India. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. OBC categories candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation is the minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the candidates desiring to apply for the posts of Probationary Officer. Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the Graduation degree. Candidates with CGPA from any recognized university or equivalent are also eligible to apply. Canidates must have adequate computer knoweldge in support of their degree. Besides all this, candidates are required to possess IBPS Score of 141 or above.

No. of posts: Total 89 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated amount of salary i.e. 14500-25700 per month.

Application Fee:

Application fee must be paid by the candidates through the means of payment challan in cash. Payment challan can be easily downloaded from the official website of Andhra Bank. Candidates can also submit or pay the application fee onine through NEFT. The payment of application fee must be done at any branch of Andhra Bank only.

Application fee is Rs. 200 for all candidates.
Rs. 50 is the amount of application fee for PWD candidates only.

Selection Process:

Selections of suitable candidates will be made through the conduct of Group Discussion/ Interview. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in the interview test. The interview will be of 35 marks, out of which candidates should obtain minimum 14 marks for qualifying.

How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online at the Andhra Bank website only. Applications made through any other mode will not be accepted by the bank. THe registration link for applying online at the website, will be made available from 23 January 2012 onwards. Candidates must take out a print of the system generated application form and keep it with them for future reference.
