Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant positions of Fire Engine Driver cum Pump Operator (Trainee), Fireman cum Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) and Surveyor for Mines in Steel Authority of India Limited. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the following positions:

1. Recruitment of Fire Engine Driver cum Pump Operator (Trainee):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available. (ST-1)
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 28 years as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates are also required to possess a valid driving license for heavy vehicles.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 8630-12080 per month.

2. Recruitment of Fireman cum Fire Engine Driver (Trainee):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available. (ST-1)
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 28 years as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates are also required to possess a valid driving license for heavy vehicles.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 8630-12080 per month.

3. Recruitment of Surveyor for Mines:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 28 years as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have passed Three years full time Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying from a recognized university. Candidates with three years full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute, are also eligible for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 9160-13150 per month.
