Haryana Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India with the aim of serving the needs of state. The major objective of the commission is to make recruitment on the high level post in Government offices in the state of Haryana. The recruitment of the candidates is made through the conduct of the competitive written examination by Haryana Public Service Commission. The commission is consist of one Chairman and 12 other members. Lt. Geneal (Retd.) Dr. D. P. Vats is the current chairman of the commission.

Job Profile:

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the vacant positions of Assistant Employment Officer (Vocational Guidance) (Group B) in Haryana Public Service Commission. Candidates will be recruited in the Employment Department of Government of Haryana.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Assistant Employment Officer is 21 years as on 9 March 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Assistant Employment Officer is 40 years as on 9 March 2012.

Candidates will be provided relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of Government of India. Candidates falling under reserved categories includes Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Class etc.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification set for the post of Assistant Employment Officer (Vocational Guidance) i.e. Master’s degree in Psychology. Candidates with Master’s degree in Education with specialization in Vocational Guidance or Master’s degree in Education with Diploma in Vocational Guidance granted by State Vocational Guidance Bureau or Master’s degree in Education with specialization in principles and techniques of guidance, are also eligible for the post. Candidates are also required to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subject upto Matric standard.
